About Me

Courtney S. Hall earned her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the prestigious North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. She earned her Masters' degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Mrs. Hall is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, a Certified Birth Doula, and a Certified Mindfulness-Informed Professional. She, also, is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated (NCATSU - Alpha Phi Chapter 2007).

Mrs. Hall has served the community of Greensboro and surrounding areas as a school social worker for 12 years and served as a Mental Health Coordinator for Guilford County School System for a little over a year. Before that, she was an Assertive Community Treatment (ACTT) team lead for an agency in Raleigh, then she worked in dialysis as a social worker for about a year. Courtney has served as a field supervisor for interns through the NC A&T SU and UNCG social work program for 10 years. Through that, she provided education, training, and mentorship to seniors. Currently, Mrs. Hall works full-time for Cone Health as a Clinical Social Worker, contract for private practice, and last but not least, the owner of Bump.Baby.Bliss. Doula, Counseling, & Ultrasound Studio. We provide services that will give our community a much-needed resource in birth preparation and education.

Mrs. Hall truly has a passion for maternal health and for helping couples. Since she can remember, as a little girl, she has always been intrigued by the woman’s anatomy and how women can produce and carry babies. Being an advocate and providing support emotionally and physically to families is truly rewarding. As an adult and becoming a parent herself, she realized, that the mental health of women (before, during, and after pregnancy) is important! Even for men, too.

Mrs. Hall's goal is to continue to serve our culture and others by educating upcoming doulas and families to trust in what is BEST for them. We are all looked at as customers and her job is not to be against the doctors, but to encourage you to advocate for yourself and be aware of your body and your needs. Having a birth doula and mental health support for you and your family should not be considered a luxury, it is a NECESSITY.
